Ode to Ramon

These three short sentences fall like a jug of cold water over our skulls. Because the good news that the closure will be only temporary and sound insulation works to enable the local cover all standards, it added the negative front: the feeling of desert solitude in our larynx, sudden abandonment of our habits, alcohol orphans. That discomfort will lead us to have our reference bar closed, we face the same pained expression of that pooch of the ads, that would never abandon you.

We feel, now, as the mutt.

We are, now, those sad and lonely souls. We are those elbows in search of a bar on which to stand. We are mocking those talks have nowhere to burst, you have to swallow in place of ruddy freshness of beer thrown on those jars white are the heart & soul of the Bar Ramon. We want to hear those ears the laughter of Slim Gaillard and his cronies the background while, below, our jaws chewing a cabrales croquette.

And we still get an idea. We still accept the fact, without conceding the coup. Without swallow the Host. How do we continue ...? We like those sometimes maimed still feel those tips to replacing a grotesque stump. We continue our beers and the talks of David or Yoli, telling how to make calçotada in Rodonyà. And simply not accept-no-we assume that will not happen.

At least not in the next two months.

And here we are. Defeated by the affliction. Slumping. Thinking of other shrines to go to, but what happen to us. Devotees in search of an area in which the gospel free beer inside us. Faithful who are beginning a long exodus that will take you through inhospitable deserts, thirst and loneliness are our petty company.

is our prayer. Our regret. Our blues. As tears are mixed barley our white jug and pour a drink as we know should know that last dust before the military.
